This new facility provides an educational and recreational resource center to explore Loudoun County, Virginia's farming heritage. The design takes its cue from the existing vernacular structures to blend seamlessly and effortlessly into the site with careful respect for proper massing, detail, proportion and the use of native and local materials. The building is designed to meet the LEED silver rating criteria for energy conservation.
